aesop rock's tight, evocative lyrics and tobacco's retro, sludgy, trippy synths make for a unique sound that has me listening on repeat. substantialanimal
The songs on the latest from Mellorine range from bright indie to surging post-rock, centered on earnest vocal melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 19, 2022

discovered this band after I was recommended Clouddead and I became a fan. the singer is so diverse it's insane and gives such vivid imagery it takes me to another realm. after hearing Good Friday I finally heard how the singer is the same guy from the abstract hip hop collective Clouddead. listen to Good Friday and then listen to Pop Song by Clouddead. but it's just wild thinking what can't this guy do? master of a genres. And how much of an ear worm these songs are. Bought the vinyl btw. KaneSeatHeadrestOfTouringAmmos
